( 7:03 PM ) milli so wednesday after netball(we beat nygh 30-9) we went to mrs chia's house..ordered pizza on the way and it got there when we were still stuck at yck station waiting for the 70!! oh well..after gettin of the bus the walk in to the estate was soooo long and later we were enlightened that it was about 1km..woah..then we stepped into the house and immediately were like 'omg mrs chia ur house so nice!!!!!'..hee..yep just about 13 of us..ahha..then we laid a batik cloth from indonesia on the floor outside and put all the pizza and drinks etc...and we sat round it and ate and ate and ate..we ordered about..6 pizzas..yep..and mrs chia actually went to nearby macs and bought 2 boxes of 20pcs nuggets and 10 packets of fries!!! oh man we ate like there was no tomorrow:D yummz..joan and geri didnt get their five pieces of pizza tho..ahha..actually we also spilt quite a bit of coke on the cloth *blush* eileen tipped my glass over the first time, and i accidentally pulled the cloth e 2nd time..and alot of the coke cans burst so alot of the fizz landed on the cloth..ahha..okie then we had a tour around the house!! oh man it looks like a hotel/resort k..took so many photos everywhere..then we went down to take a group photo at the...*dunno what to call it*..porch?? yesh and we wanted yiwei to take a pic w/ the plastic frog but she was so scared she was screaming like siao..ooook then we took pics..and we went inside..talked..then took a few more pics...and went home..haha..actually mrs chia offered to give us some of her skirts if we could fit but somehow they were all too small for us..:( there was a really nice dark green one tho..and joan could fit into size 10!!! oh man that skinny gal:D yep that's it for wed i guess..and thursday...nothing significant happened, well den rcia..me and mandi did verse 3 of magnificat...nice:D haha..fr david's talk was pretty interesting too..about the old testament..and br peter was kinda corny..cos someone said "so when u come for this rcia class...etc'" he said "class?? like school...exams??" yep..so that's about it i guess..now to get on w/ today..:D ~doubleteam Tuesday, June 24, 2003 ( 7:46 PM ) milli so the weird thing the past 3 days is that well now i've got a brother and a sister...aha..anyhows went for my guitar lesson on monday..got there, first thing the lady at the counter told me was that my abrsm exam will be on thurs 24/7 2pm..haha..what a date..anyhows 2pm means i wont get to skip skool and instead have to go to funan from school!! that sucks..haha.. yesterday's training was ok lah..and mrs chia invited us to her house today..so we're going after training..for dinner!! cos 2day training we're playin against nygh..shih yuin!!! or serene..whatever..aaah i miss me rgps frens..oh well..yep we've actually been following the baseball college world series on espn..and the finals is btwn rice owls and stanford cardinals...oh stanford those poshies..so of course we're supporting rice..it's a best of 3 games thingie and guess what...RICE WON!! their first ncaa title in ANY sport..haha..they won game one 4-3, lost game two 8-3, and won game three 14-2...they havent shown that game on tv yet tho..sigh...if only they will, soon..luckily i've got my online new york times to keep me updated...on the topic of sports..isnt everyone already sick of becks?? oh well this is the perfect time to weed out the true man utd supporters and those tagalongs who just followthe *oh so popular* david robert joseph beckham..like i give a hoot about what he does and what his new hairstyle's like..puh-leeze..sad that real released hierro..i mean he IS like the ugliest footballer in history but he so darn good...:( blah..going blog visiting now...so cya'll!! ~doubleteam Sunday, June 22, 2003 ( 7:03 PM ) milli mm...so yesterday was quite a fun day. mass in the morning, practice after that, then the fun part of the day. mon's house. so we *mon me milli mel iddi sam* took a bus to her house...got to the house plonked our stuff down. then samantha decided to study *Julius Caesar* notes...my goodness...while me and milli watched roddick-grosjean match...woah...ah roddick is tooo cute:D and iddi and mel played speed while monica helped with cooking spaghetti. after that we ate spaghetti! with *red* sauce then *white* sauce. mon and her mommie make spaghetti sound so chim. hee. then we baked cake! or rather, mon mel and her mommie baked cake while me milli and sam watched on...and iddi too. there were choc chips in the cake! yummy...then we went up to mon's room to help her pick out *decent* clothes for the ordination mass later. turns out she's got loads of clothes she comes up with funny reasons not to wear. anyhows me milli and sam find a very nice outfit for her, and she decides to wear a not very long -above knee by 4 inches- denim skirt, her spag top and jacket. thank goodness for the jacket anyway or else dominic woulda killed her...mebbe. then we found samantha a skirt! because we convinced her that jeans were too casual.and everyone else was wearing skirt except her so...she looked so pretty...hee...then the cake was ready! albeit being a little burnt. *pause for a moment* milli sez: my hair looks nice today. aaaanyways continuing the story, we ate cake and those in the living room watched the last part of josh groban's concert. the encore was damn freaky. oh yah...actually we managed to persuade nick to come over saying that nigel was going to come too. well nigel didn't turn up but whatever. nick felt soooo sabo-ded...anyways he did some VERY freaky card tricks...muahaha...didn't know he could. then...oh yah about the josh groban encore. the song was called ~doubleteam Saturday, June 21, 2003 ( 5:53 AM ) milli heyz all..not much really happened last few days..so no blog entries..anyhows..thursday i went for a run..den met up w/ ed and ber in macs...managed to talk for like 1.5hrs..ahha..b4 that me and ber were like 'where the hell is ed'..claimed he was in macs but wasnt there at all..oh wellz..then went for rcia...nice..then friday...did some of 'the pearl' stuff in e morning..then afternoon was like voice lesson then go grammie's hse then go church..got back about 10.30..;) this morning...sheesh man..thought training was at 9.30 so woke up at 8..8.05 got a call from cammie..sayin that training started at 8!! so me and mandi like rushed outta e house in abt 5 min..den got to skool ard 8.20/25..*tired* ahha..then we played against the bdiv 2day..they didnt have a WD tho..made things mebbe a *teeny* bit easier for us..but we still lost..sigh..no debbie no joan no jeanne no kelda wad...the afternoon borrowed 'die another day' vcd..watched..then entire family went for a nice long walk past like wad..thomson hill jln leban whatever jalans then ended up at a lil quaint hawker centre..food quite nice lah..den walked all e way home again...so full..haha..and..it's now!! haha..so yea gonna change e music of e blog now..to this is the night...cos patrick requested a song change... ~doubleteam Tuesday, June 17, 2003 ( 8:13 PM ) milli milli here..i promise mandi will give her side of e story..well so yea this is e bit about e skit..it was towards e end of retreat day 1 on sat..e grps were given parables from e bible to re-enact, and my grp got a story about some landowner and some workers blahblah..after a lot of deciding*i think we spent more time deciding on actors than rehearsing* paul was e narrator, i was e landowner, lil eddie was e foreman and everyone else were e workers..haha..den jules ashley and natalie's characters were supposed to complain about their pay and stuffs and jules and ashley kept reminding me to let them kao pei abit more b4 i scold them..haha..see im supposed to scream at them and tell them to TAKE UR PAY AND GO!! hee..as to how our group did, i'll leave it to mandi to elaborate...:D mandi's story okay mebbe no one really wants to know whatever happened because its not very interesting anyway! but sensing itchy fingers i shall type to my heart's content *humph*. so saturday was okay, main highlight of the day was the skit! and of course it's quite obvious especially when milli talks about it so much. let's just say i had ONE line to say and that was very memorable. so our group being samaria got the parable of the good samaritan. obviously the easiest roles were the -priest- and -levite- as all they did was shun the -robbed one- as they were walking down the road. so i immediately said *i'm the levite* so i got the role:D haha...then ben mao decided to be the -robbed one- haha and shawn and manuel were the -robbers- ashley was the innkeeper, ben kwang was the -samaritan- patrick was -Jesus- jonathan was -narrator- jocelyn was the -priest*ess- emilio was another character...can't remember! anyways so the skit went on, and after being *beaten up* mao was like literally mewing *help me* on the ground. wah he's like damn pathetic anyway so jocelyn walked right down, then my turn as the levite...hmm...so i walk...until mao there said 'oooh stink-ayy' in his face, snubby my nose and walked away. was that really that memorable? dunno...anyway our group won best sound effects. huh? dunno lahz... then sunday came, lunch was like...bleah...so i *lost fingers*. how dumb. so i cheated and wriggled me fingers out of the glovey thing a little...heh...jonathan was a bad bad caregiver...heh...uncle vincent must remind him again and again then he will help...blah! sit there and laff at everybody! oh yah then mao was *blind* and kana bully...:D good for him...*winks* then at the end of the day got team affirmation, everyone write good comments abt each other then patrick was like "where have all my adjectives gone?" anybody care liddat. oh yah i'm supposed to comment abt milli's grp skit. hmm...let's say it was screamy *milli so fierce* but quite farnie...esp the foreman! who didn't have to talk at all...but a bit messy...heh...anyways that's the end of the rant, netballers see you at 3!! ~doubleteam Monday, June 16, 2003 ( 4:24 AM ) milli milli's side of the story of the happenings on saturday and sunday Saturday went to church about..8.30..found out our camp groups thru a lil activity..then managed to find e other grp mates..jeez when i first saw jules ashley and thomas i was like 'shit our grp sure die liao'..haha...but ok lah...altho those 3 were like completely mad...then we had some icebreakers lalala...and our group kept losing and we actually managed to come in first for one thing then lynette(facilitator) was like 'jerusalem team finally won'..haha..then there was this creative walk..damn crappy but i think our team's way of moving along was pretty good..better than..my dad's grp..then lunch..haha..apparently there was this fella jonathan who went around disturbing pple but he didnt disturb our group...then we also had a 2 talks by br mike broughton..damn farnie..but still managed to absorb all he said..then group discussions aplenty...mostly disrupted by jules ashley thomas and shaun..talk crap e entire day..and then there was praise and worship also...the songs were all nice lah...sang along..:D Sunday so this sunday started like normal sundays..go church and sing..lalala...then me mandi and nick's plans didnt work cos john teo made us stay back awhile..managed to get away tho...then started to go to macs..from the rubbish chute side..ran like hell..cos we kena spotted..then we went to a bread shop*cant remember e name* and bought bread instead..then we were headin back to church..kena spotted by patrick..so..we ran again..all e way back to church..dunno where mandi and ed were...but me and nick hid behind a fat blue pillar..waited until we couldnt see ed mandi and pat then we ran up the stairs to 0301..sat down..*tired*..ahha..den mandi and ed appeared a while later...couldnt play much tho..cos amy came in and said we had to go over to 0302 in 5 min..then e camp started again...blahblah...there was this part where we had to look in newspaper articles...paul got e business page?! haha...den ed got some article that said that sars could be spread by poop..and jules was like 'how unless u stick ur finger into someone's butt and smell ur finger after that'..haha..and so on and so on...then we were split into our ministries..the choir practiced...but seriously there was not enuf time..haha..then LUNCH..ahha...each person in e grp had a disability...paul and nicole were blind, shawn and ashley lost their fingers, ed, jules and thomas couldnt talk, me and jade couldnt use our master hand..*but we pretended that we were left handers..heh..* den natalie was e best lah..our caretaker..so we had to like eat our food w/ our disabilities..haha...and john and nigel started fightin...*blind pple somemore* and alot of other crap stuff happened lah..and well..nicole and paul's mom..ahha..wun talk abt that...paul was like 'oh my mom!!' and he moved backwards..aha...like so damn scared of her liddat..den grp discussion again..then some introduction to some destitute homes that we might be helping out in august...then evaluation of teammates...blahblah..then jules wanted to borrow my pink marker so i lent him....den he din wanna return it..den i was like fine..den he was like ok i return to you lah.."coconut!!"den i was like 'huh?' but nvm...so i got my pink marker back..den it was...MASS TIME!!! all in all it went quite well lah...we went from short of guys in the choir to too many guys..ahha..cos e welcome team had nothing to do liao...so a couple joined..then e extra altar servers...quite fun lah..singsingsing...den after mass...phototaking..was like about the last row...den jules came along..and jumped on me?! hai alot of pple almost fall down...not once k but 3 times lor.haha...like peter denying he knew jesus liddat...not once but thrice..ahha..jeez...shoulder pain lahx..den we could GO HOME!!!!! finally..it was over..ahha....but not b4 jules said "oh so now u got guitar u think u win lah!!!!' sheesh that fella..incorrigible.. ~doubleteam Sunday, June 15, 2003 ( 11:12 PM ) milli here...now i will attempt to blog in parts for thursday, friday, saturday and sunday:D regarding sat n sun, only mandi's stories though:D because i don't know milli's! Thursday normal day, only highlight was the evening! went to church at around 7 pm to practise for the rcia opening day. got there and got a name tag! saying: amanda dizon, rcia music ministry. cool eh? haha..love to sing, love to sing...me and milli bought some bread from sweet secrets and ate in church because we were early! then we practise then its the time! so there was only grace, me milli and me daddy there but it was pretty cool but a bit scary singing one mike each! then do the reading...pretty fun too...yay daddy sez me read well...nice! then go roti prata shop grace ate kambing soup, me daddy ate cheese prata and me and milli drank tea. then we got home and cannot sleep! sigh...finally did though, around midnight. Friday nemo!!!! yah left house at 11.40 to meet nick, ed and patrick at bishan mrt...eeks! while looking for them actually saw chloe! anyways so we went all the way upstairs to food court to eat! then ed ate this fishball and beehoon thing then when he brought his food to the table he was like "nemo's gonna be angry" muahahah!! then nick ate something with ice and gross stuff...hee...patrick ate his beloved beef noodles *see him eat the veg i get so grossed out* me ate fried kway teow and milli took all of 45 mins to eat carrot cake. its like the whole world was waiting for her..hee...abt the kway teow milli forgot to say "w/o chilli" so end up so spicy!! blah...anw then we went to buy movie tix...then the guys went to arcade, me and milli went to look for papa's day gift for me grandpappie! we finally bought something and found the guys in popular bkstore sitting on the floor. we were actually there for 10min but they didnt' notice us looking at the 'spot' books. then we were like 'reliving childhood' or something, looking at those comic things and count to 10 and abc books...oh man...*where are you mouse? heeheehee...here i am spot* soo cute! and crappy anyways then went to watch movie! were almost late cuz we saw the world war II books...then we watched and we watched...too many details...:D then we split ways and milli and me went to grandma hse! until night, got home...zzzz.... okay i'll stop here for now...too long! haha...will continue part 2 later tonight..with BOTH sides of the story:D as in milli's *mis*adventures with a damned guy jules and others:D ~doubleteam Wednesday, June 11, 2003 ( 8:04 PM ) milli sigh...yesterday was so so long! well...yah. early in the morning me and milli met yann yee at yio chu kang mrt to go to the lasalle-sia college of the arts for some gamelan workshop. it was quite fun:D we actually got to play stuff...haha...and i thought it would be boring! i got to play kenong and ketuk and gangsa *spots blur faces* anyways doesn't matter...bernadette was like she took 25 wrong direction! and ended up at amk interchange or something, so we told her to go somerset cross the road and take 14. then its like either people have problems understanding yy or they themselves something wrong rite then yy repeat so many times its like i think the whole train know where we going lor. anyways then after that apparently there was a class *mep* outing and ice skating k! then me and milli couldn't go all because of netball. sux manz..anyways because even if i only went skating once i wanna go again because its fun! anyways me and milli at lunch at long john silver's near funan there...cuz we were going to city hall to take train back and bus to school! then we got to school and had training...blah as usual...hee...3 rounds timing deprove like *bleep* anyways cuz milli beat jeanne *and nobody beats jeanne* and it was only 5.20! usually if that happens its like 5.10+ or faster...haha then ate 2 beancurdies and 2 nuggets for dinner and headed home bathed and went to church! turned out no one turned up for the rcia opening prac and my daddie was so pissed at them...anyways so had supper *roti prata!!* wif daddie and milli and went home! waste of time...coulda watched ally mcbeal! blah. wah this entry very long lehx...anyways seey'all! ~doubleteam Monday, June 09, 2003 ( 4:18 AM ) milli so now the entries part of our blog is *scrollable*...yay..anyhows yesterday was kinda fun...after choir prac went to help w/ balloons and stuff..and some pple sucked in e helium and their voices came out all..weird..haha..then me mandi and iddi went citylink mall then suntec w/ mommie..ate e delifrance potato thing for lunch..so nice:D then went in and out of alot of shops..din really buy anything then went into a shop selling hair stuff, ended up buying two scrunchies and a string..haha..the guy there helped do iddi's hair..so nice k..den we walkwalk somemore...went into a few more shops..then decided to go home..cos we were gettin kinda tired...hee..instead of taking mrt home we took a bus..70...and the trip was like one whole hour..saw a lot of stuff lah actually...but i fell asleep for quite a bit of the journey..woke up cos e lady standing next to my seat kept banging me..and we got home!!! finally...like after so long..haha..den went online and stuffs...yea that's abt it...and today..oso quite boring..stayed at home but then watching e winter x games on espn was quite fun..oh man those pple are so cool!!! den watched american idol...oh man clay was like..not good..but heck:D see how far he's come now..den i had to go for guitar..mandi and iddi stayed at home and watched more tv i presume..ahha...oh well..yea so tt's abt it for 2day...:D ~doubleteam Saturday, June 07, 2003 ( 3:32 AM ) milli today has been a very very boring day. even worse than the sars holiday...blah...total computer time today was about 5 hours? and counting, because in the morning my cuzzie and his fren were havin tuition in me house so cannot make noise so went online...then afternoon another fella...so...and now again because there's absolutely nothing to do! and there's no one online either...sigh...listening to american idol cd now...:D it's too good...ladidas...ruben's singing [superstar] now...next track is [on the wings of love] by the one and only clay aiken! sigh...i think i've professed my lurve for that guy enough times on this blog now for the whole world to know i'm a huge fan...heh...anyways his single is coming out on june 10 same day as ruben which is this coming tuesday which is also olympiad day! blah...i'm just so gonna suck at that...2 hours of not knowing a single solution to any question...haha...too bad lah pay money must take part ritex? need to clean up the room esp my table! it's in a really terrible state...oh man the whole year its been impossible to use the table to do homework...as a result i don't do or do on the floor or dining table...muahaha...can't be bothered to take temperature every day...how to take at 7.45 when i'm not even awake yet? ridiculous lah but heck...see y'all... ~doubleteam p.s. woohoo! track 2 has begun...*swoons* Friday, June 06, 2003 ( 6:15 AM ) milli hmm some updates 2day...mandi's nominated monitor for nxt semester:D yay..and..we like didnt do anything in school 2day..kinda boring..and we changed seats..but somehow im still sitting at the same seat i've been sittin at since e first day of skool...first kim and emily den rachel and mel then rach and xinyi now it's still me and xinyi..sigh..if i ever change seats in class, i'll feel so *odd*..and well imagine a pairing of mandi and xiaoyun..die lah..e 2 of em are gonna be majorly siao..but who minds..heh..oooh yeah it's officially holidays!!!!!!! but it doesnt really feel like it leh..still got 2 go back 2 skool for training etc..heck..enjoy e times when we're at home...and well..next friday..*laughs damn loudly*..heh. ~doubleteam Wednesday, June 04, 2003 ( 11:46 PM ) milli so exams are over and we've got our ppr back..heh..so here's a day2day analysis of what we felt of the papers.. day one: geog and english..geog was..unexpected and english..milli sez: my compo sounds odd and mandi sez: i think mine's sweet. day two: chinese 1 and history...both of us say: our compos were rather shitty..and history, well..not exactly good either.. day three: maths and e. lit...maths i think lotsa pple couldnt finish the paper, and well..same here..and as for e.lit..the paper was ok lah...mandi actually predicted that they might give that very scene for the test, and she was right...i think she has a sixth sense.. day four: chinese 2 and mep..chinese was quite ok actually apart from the compre and summary..not nice at all..and mep, heh...forget it... and as for ppr, mandi improved from last term by abt 4+ marks...*claps for mandi* and well i deproved..oh well..*promises to try and buck up next term :D* hmm...den ltr 2nite we're going to church..lalala...sing and sing and sing somemore... ~doubleteam Monday, June 02, 2003 ( 5:21 AM ) milli man i'm not supposed to be blogging now...the only reason i'm online even is because i'm studying from chue dynasty's powerpoints which are surprising highly useful...sure doesn't pay to study history just the day before the test dammit...hehe...i just finished like chapter 7 and i have 1 hr 45 mins more to friends...wonder how much more i can cram into my poor brain...overworked! sigh...loading another ppt...sigh...never knew one of my fav subbies could be so difficult...hmm. listening to perfect 10 right now and just heard a darius song and currently listening to a liberty x song...never knew they could sound so good! hehe...tony lundon totally rocks in dance man but he can't quite sing...still...being in lord of the dance makes up quite an impressive resume! anyways i'm just gonna stop here now, hoping that the tiny candy pic that i tried to put here appears...sigh...i'm not among the best at webbing things...*winks* ~amanda Sunday, June 01, 2003 ( 4:21 AM ) milli milli's bein nerdy these few days..ahha..so's mandi..but not as nerdy as moi..:D oh well yea it's been so long since e end of AI yet we're still mad about clay:D heh so off to update ed's blog...not much really happened these few days lor..except the choir sounded pretty ding dang good today..deffo better than last week..heh...:D and we sang the creed w/out scores!! me mon and mandi:D oh and taught nick how to play some song i havent ever heard b4..but he got his fren to burn e song..heard it today..lovely man...and from not being able to read tabs i actually know how to..YAY..okok really gonna update ed's blog now...his com spoil lah.. ~doubleteam
